The new IDEA book is PLACES+FACES. The book of the brand of the people of the times; the places and the faces. Soulz and Ciesay started P+F in 2013.

As you are about to find out, as the world is about to find out, PLACES+FACES have been busy for the past 12 years. They have been productive. The book is huge. It is 480 pages in a 10” x 12” hardcover book wrapped in a dust jacket! There are 400+ photographs. This is one huge undertaking. A photo-document of a drawn-out decade of hip-hop and street style, of pop-ups and photo-ops and parties, of apparel and accessories and collaborations. This is the book of A$AP Ferg, Kanye West, Sarah Snyder, Travis Scott, Luka Sabbat, A$AP Rocky, Prodigy and Stormzy and that's just the first 24 pages! The book is the world.

"The city was alive, the energy unmatched. A$AP Ferg had just dropped Shabba, and it was on every radio station. One day, I randomly bumped into him in an elevator in the Bronx. I asked if I could shoot him—he said yes. That moment kicked off AN over a decade-long friendship. I’d hustle my way into venues, claiming I worked for VICE and had been flown in from London to shoot the events. It worked like a charm. That summer, I found myself in spaces I could’ve only dreamed of—capturing artists, moments, and the culture as it unfolded in real time. The city was buzzing with creativity. Travis Scott had just dropped Owl Pharaoh and tore up the stage at SOB’s. Migos dropped Versace and changed the game. Kanye unleashed Yeezus and shook the world. Chance was blowing minds with Acid Rap, and Ferg was dropping collabs with BAPE. Even Vinny Cha$e was making waves. While I was out in New York capturing the chaos, Soulz was back in London, holding it down and documenting moments of his own. That summer, everything clicked—and that’s how PLACES+FACES was born."
