Good Sport #6 - The Prop

Is sport the main event or just the prop? In Issue 06, we look at how sport serves as a backdrop for social movements, community bonds, and artistic expression.

Issue 06 explores the boundary between reality and illusion in sport. From fake props to authentic performances--what's real and what's not?

We invite you into a world of thought-provoking, playful pieces through our theme of “Props.” From content and design, right through to paper stock and size, the theme runs through.

Does a high quality wetsuit allow us to be closer to nature, or take us further from it?

Since inception in 2014, we have redefined what a sports magazine is. By looking and listening deeper, Good Sport presents a more nuanced narrative. Leaving the score card behind and connecting with the interplay of people, community and culture; ideas emerge, experimentation comes first and living actively engaged lifestyles become part of the creative process.

Good Sport’s ideas begin with a question, followed by a curious and playful approach, intertwining ideas that unite multiple perspectives. We believe in doing things with a team spirit and an openness to learn and grow. That’s what sport means to us, and we’re interested in the endless ways people from all walks of life manifest this attitude.
