Reaching Kanyege washing station requires a short trek through hilly Bourbon tree plots, where cherries ripen between December and May before being delivered from farms at 1,800–2,100m altitude. RWACOF (Sucafina in Rwanda) acquired the station in 2017, overcoming challenges like a 2018 hailstorm to see recovery in 2019, introducing Honey processing alongside Washed and Natural methods. Coffee undergoes strict sorting, anaerobic fermentation, and meticulous drying to enhance flavor. RWACOF, in partnership with Kahawatu Foundation and LSE, invests in farmer training, soil health, gender equality, and income diversification while advancing sustainability through solar energy, emissions reduction, and forest conservation, ensuring top-quality coffee and improved farmer livelihoods

Dark Arts Coffee is a coffee roaster started by friends in East London with twisted visions of using alchemy to combine fire, water and magic beans into a divine elixir.
