"Hi there, I'm Alice Lickens, and I run Mortlake Papers. We create playful, eco-friendly stationery designed and made in the UK, right from my studio in leafy Mortlake, South London. Each design starts life as a drawing, collage, or painting crafted by me. The artwork is then digitised to ensure every brush stroke, inked line, and texture is visible in the finished product. Sustainability is central to Mortlake Papers. Our cards are printed on FSC-certified recycled paper, meaning they are made entirely from recycled materials. We pair these with vegan envelopes made from 80-100% recycled paper which are free free from animal glues and pigments. Our packaging is plastic-free and either compostable or recyclable, we aim to tread as lightly on the planet as possible."
