Issue #4 is titled EARTH SYNTHETIC- we’re exploring how existing today has changed the way we experience reality, nature, and human connection. We’ve curated a selection of artists to examine at the tension between the organic world and synthetic systems: that even with most artificial technologies, we can trace ourselves back to the earth itself; without forgetting the space that exists between these realities. To fully succumb to the earth, and simultaneously destroy it, relishing in both, what does it mean to be human in a burning world? We’ve been thinking a lot about isolation, control, and our growing dependence on the synthetic, how we embrace and our place on earth.
