The home for the outcasts, the marginalised and misunderstood misfits amongst us, ANARKISS is an independent zine that blends punk-inspired aesthetics with radical political commentary, art, and literature about ‘all the things that matter in a society gone wrong.’

Rooted in anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian, and queer-positive values, our publication draws inspiration from those that came before, like The Little Review. Through ANARKISS, we aim to challenge societal norms, address pressing social issues, and publish “renegade art that questions the status quo.”

ANARKISS serves as a creative outlet for individuals to express their perspectives on themes of social resistance, defiance, and liberation.

Whether you’re a poet or a photographer, a short story writer or a graphic designer, through our open submission policy (international applicants welcome!), we provide a platform for voices often marginalised or misunderstood in mainstream media.
