This behavior reflects the instinctive territorial markings found throughout history in the natural world, among animals and plants alike. The artist defines the act of leaving traces, not just the result, but the act itself, as a fundamental human instinct, and delves into its essence. Focusing on this unceasing, primal urge, the artist expresses it through contemporary metaphors. This book serves as a prologue to the theme of “Incomplete Instinct,” introduced before the collaboration with artist S33mba. It is also the first epilogue that will be linked to S33mba’s upcoming work, Gene.
