Lot 20 Coffee, founded by Sidney Kibet in 2019 after returning to his home in Kericho, Kenya, has grown from a small exporter working with farmers in two counties to a thriving operation spanning five. The company is rooted in a mission to strengthen local communities by keeping processing and value creation close to where the coffee is grown. Its Metibellion washing station in Kericho provides farmers with access to reliable processing while ensuring they are paid fairly and promptly, avoiding the risks of the traditional supply chain. Beyond buying cherries at premium prices, Lot 20 invests in farmer training, financial literacy, and access to quality seedlings, encouraging younger generations to remain in coffee. By focusing on innovation, sustainability, and building a new state-of-the-art processing facility, Lot 20 is helping redefine the role of western Kenya in the specialty coffee industry while empowering the farmers who make it possible.
Dark Arts Coffee is a coffee roaster started by friends in East London with twisted visions of using alchemy to combine fire, water and magic beans into a divine elixir.
