Dial In magazine is a Manchester based speciality coffee magazine, in which each issue will focus entirelty on one roaster or shop in our effort to really celebrate the community and culture from within. 

In this issue we're going back to where it all started for us - North Star Roasters. Both of us being baristas, going to college in Leeds and having our first speciality coffee at North Stars cafe in Leeds Dock, it felt right to start the magazine right where it all started for us. At the same time, we are hopefully representing Leeds' coffee scene, a coffee scene we see has so much potential. We're so excited to share it with everyone and hope that in some way we're passing on a bit of passion or knowledge from inside of  an industry that has so much to offer.

Issue one is a deep dive into North Stars design, approach to buying and sustainability, their roastery set up and coffee and most importantly, the people. We were in conversation with their staff at both roastery and cafe level, hoping to shed some light of just how much thought & love goes into coffee.
