The Kabosu Sketchbook features 76 pages of sustainable 170gsm ivory paper (the same paper as the Oroblanco Sketchbook). Exposed binding offers a minimal aesthetic while allowing the book to open completely flat on every page. Perfect for wet and dry mediums including light watercolour. Finished with a 1.5 mm recycled board available in eight signature Pith™ colours.

PAPER

Our Sketchbooks are made with off-white, acid-free paper with a medium tooth texture. Suitable for a wide range of applications from dry to wet mediums, at 170gsm, it resists cockling with light washes and has minimal bleed through.

BINDING

Our books are section sewn and glued by hand using water-based PVA. We leave our binding exposed as this technique provides maximum flexibility, allowing the book to open completely flat on every single page.
