Everybody Wants to be Happy

This is the third of twelve publications that will be published monthly throughout 2021. Each publication covers a different project or theme from the past 15 years of James taking photographs and making work. 

In 2013 I started making collages from discarded pizza menus, pages from Bulk Male magazine and shiny paper. Focusing on aesthetics, colour, balance and symmetry I made 100 collages recontextualizing overlooked materials, giving them new value. A selection from this series is published here for the first time.
